You may only get married once, but I’ve spent 20 years “getting married,” and have learned one thing above all: wedding planning is a skill. One that I’ve sharpened to a fine point, because when it comes to a celebration as special and significant as your wedding, there can’t be any oversights. From the broadest design concept to the smallest of details, I consider everything because I’ve encountered everything. And though it may lead to long nights and 100-page planning binders, it also leads to an exceptional wedding — every single time.

GOOD TASTE
Mary Thornton has been an icon of New England weddings since 2004 when she first started Mary Thornton Events. In 2010, she opened a stationery shop in Fairfield, Connecticut, and rebranded to Party Party to encompass both sides of the business.
Mary closed her charming boutique in 2023, and to honor her foundations as renewed focus on her wedding planning clients, rebranded one final time in 2025 back to Mary Thornton Events.
